Building together on Zorgeloos Vastgoed

The Zorgeloos Vastgoed team is growing, and that’s a good thing given our ambitions. In February, we welcomed Joost Wisselink back to the team. So, what’s the story?

Back in action?

“From 2017 to 2021, I worked with the KNB as an external architect. In that role, I was closely involved in discussions with various partners about Zorgeloos Vastgoed. Together, we shaped the vision and looked at how to best align customer needs, business goals, and IT. The aim was to make chain processes more efficient and valuable,  both for customers and for stakeholders. When my contract with KNB ended, I took a job in the construction sector for a year. But honestly, it wasn’t the right fit. I discovered I just don’t really connect with that world. I’ve always enjoyed working with Leon (program manager at Zorgeloos Vastgoed), so when he called me, the decision was easy.”

What is your role at Zorgeloos Vastgoed?

“I’m leading the architecture workgroup. That means I keep an eye on the long-term vision and make sure it’s clearly mapped out. It’s important that the architecture of ZV is concrete and understandable for everyone and that the path to our end goal is just as clear. I’m taking over from Kennard Brandenburgh, who will now focus on implementation.”

What do you enjoy about working on Zorgeloos Vastgoed?

“Zorgeloos Vastgoed is an initiative that genuinely improves people’s lives. It helps everyday Dutch citizens by making the process of buying or selling a home easier. I really enjoy removing barriers for people. What fascinates me is the mix of technical, legal, and social elements, and understanding Dutch and EU legislation and figuring out how to apply it smartly. It’s so important that we give people back control over their own data. We need to be able to share critical information within the real estate chain more securely and reliably. I see myself as someone who’s human-centered — and technology should always be there to serve people. At Zorgeloos Vastgoed, that balance is just right.”
