More convenience, clarity and certainty
The founders of the Zorgeloos Vastgoed Foundation share one common goal: making the buying and selling of real estate easier for consumers. With the signing of the deed of incorporation, the founders are taking the next step toward more convenience, clarity, and certainty in every stage of homeownership.
Efficiënt and broad chain collaboration
As a non-profit, the foundation focuses on organizing and facilitating digital communication across the entire real estate chain — from consumers and real estate agents to lenders, financial advisors, and notaries. It does so by developing a unified language and a generic architecture: the afsprakenstelsel (set of agreements). By operating as a foundation, Zorgeloos Vastgoed creates a solid framework for efficient sector-wide collaboration, enabling:
- Real-time, validated residential and transaction data for consumers, market parties, and government — directly from reliable sources
- Fast and secure information exchange between all parties, offering more insight and oversight throughout the buying process
- Consumer control: individuals decide which parties they want to share their data with
Sector-wide data sharing
Zorgeloos Vastgoed is currently best known for its digital purchase agreement: the first result of the sector-wide agreements within real estate. This digital contract allows buyers and sellers to share their data more easily and securely across the entire industry. It gives consumers better insight and control while eliminating the need for duplicated paperwork. The current version of the digital purchase agreement is already being used on a small scale in practice. Next steps include the digitalization and streamlining of additional documents within the real estate process, such as the A+B List, energy label, and various deeds.
Governance
The foundation has a Board and a Supervisory Council to further develop and maintain the system. The board consists of Jennifer op ‘t Hoog (Managing director, HDN), Rob Agelink (Director of data, governance and innovation, Kadaster), Bernadette Verberne (Manager of Innovation, KNB) and Peter van Grevengoed (Operational director/board, NVM). In the Supervisory Council the following people take a seat, namely Reinier van der Heijden (director/board, HDN), Frank Tierolff (Board president, Kadaster), Annerie Ploumen (Board president, KNB) and Peter Brussel (General president, NVM). The foundation also welcomes other sector and business organizations in the real estate sector.
